As a Resource Manager, you’ll be at the heart of a high-performing engineering team. You’ll lead, mentor, and develop engineers, ensuring they have the skills and support to deliver professional services that exceed customer expectations. You’ll foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement, where every team member feels valued and empowered to grow. Your leadership will directly shape the team’s success and the quality of service we deliver to our clients.

 

 

What You'll Do

 

Operational & People Management (60%)

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers, driving performance and professional growth
  • Conduct regular check-ins and site visits, addressing issues promptly and effectively
  • Develop and manage training and development plans aligned with corporate goals
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of systems and processes (e.g., timesheets, absence management)
  • Support recruitment and onboarding of engineers through approved HR processes
  • Coordinate and conduct appraisal reviews and other HR activities
  • Authorize travel and expenses while maintaining cost control
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and HR policies
  • Recognize and celebrate outstanding performance

 

Leadership (30%)

  • Inspire and motivate your team to perform at their best
  • Lead by example, modeling professionalism, accountability, and collaboration
  • Foster a culture of open and honest feedback
  • Build a cohesive, inclusive team where everyone feels valued
  • Set clear objectives and communicate expectations effectively

 

Customer Satisfaction (10%)

  • Ensure the team is focused on delivering best-in-class customer service
  • Support the achievement of customer satisfaction targets in line with corporate goals
  • Monitor and act on customer feedback to continuously improve service
  • Maintain and manage local client relationships

 

 

What You'll Need

 

  • Commercially aware, ideally with a technical IT background; IT service deliver experience is a plus
  • Understanding of the IT marketplace
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and corporate tools
  • Proven management, leadership, and coaching experience (minimum 2 years)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong administrative capabilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and relationship-building ability
  • Able to work effectively under pressure, self-motivated, and assertive
  • Experience supporting geographically distributed teams
  • Fluent in English and either Dutch or French
