Datacenter/Cloud sales consultant

Role Responsibility

 

The Datacenter/Cloud Sales Specialist is responsible for creating, selling and commercially owning significant solution sales engagements, which combine elements of both professional services and technology. Your role is customer facing, working closely with our Account Management teams with responsibility for driving short and long term datacenter and cloud business.

 

•    Developing, leading and closing multiple deals, selling to major existing and prospective customers headquartered in Belgium
•    Providing end-to-end ownership for an opportunity - managing the entire deal lifecycle from inception to commercial close and delivery start
•    Supporting, guiding and coaching the wider Computacenter team to qualify, define, differentiate, develop and close deals across all vertical sectors
•    Assisting the customer through a process of understanding their requirements, defining a solution and creating a compelling proposition
•    Driving partnership and collaboration with key vendors
•    Responsibility for negotiating commercials and closing the deal
•    Ensuring high levels of internal and external stakeholder satisfaction through the sales cycle 
•    Helping to develop a sales strategy to maximise opportunities and grow market share
•    Stay updated on new and emerging markets and offerings


The Ideal Candidate

You will have extensive knowledge and experience of selling datacenter solutions to a variety of enterprise customers. You will have an enthusiastic attitude, a proactive approach and you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence both technical and commercial stakeholders.

 

•    A proven track record in selling significant IT infrastructure projects
•    Ideal candidate is able to express in Dutch, French and English language
•    Experience of working as a specialist (someone who is opportunity rather than customer aligned) and understanding of the challenges that this dynamic brings
•    Demonstrate personal leadership and drive
•    Credible specialist knowledge with the ability to articulate this with the client at all levels up
•    The ability to write a transition plan from the as-is situation towards the future state, 
•    The ability to work effectively with Computacenter technical experts in defining the right proposition for a specific client's needs
•    Proven experience of working with multiple vendors and partners and managing conflicting demands and expectations
•    Experience of working with datacenter A-brands
•    The ability to manage the entire deal lifecycle from inception to commercial close and delivery start
•    Strong presentation skills and the ability to adapt your style to different customer situations
•    Strong understanding of strategic and technology issues in the datacenter/cloud marketplace
•    Consultative selling experience is a plus
•    Experience in complex technical design with good conceptual knowledge in Private/Hybrid/Public/Multi – Cloud, IaaS, Automatisation and Virtualisation
•    Strong focus on selling solutions to support our customers on their way to Digital (Cloud) Transformation
•    Understanding of commercial and risk management in a solutions/services environment
