Financial Analyst
About the role
This position is a role for financial and operational reporting and analysis supporting the North American Sales Teams - including the development and reporting of KPIs, financial and operational performance metrics, review of customer-level financial performance, analysis of forecasting, and special projects. Responsible for quantitative and data analysis to make strategic and tactical recommendations that maximize company profitability. On an as-needed basis will provide analytical support to business unit and country unit leadership at all levels and across the organization.
What you'll be doing
- Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods and materials.
- Ensure daily data capture allows for metrics analysis and operations coordination.
- Create reporting on Key Performance Indicators by utilizing financial and operations data
- Prepare quarterly and monthly reporting using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for presentation to be used by executive leadership
- Prepare weekly and daily reports to support the business throughout the month to proactively identify problems or situations that need attention,
- Work with existing software and programs to capture, validate, contextualize, and share findings
- Contribute forecasting process and forecast inputs with the team utilizing existing tools.
- Work on special projects outside of standard analysis as assigned by manager
What you have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration, or equivalent in experience.
- 2-3 years of finance or accounting experience, CPA/CMA/CFA is a plus but not required.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills.
- Very detailed-oriented and resourceful.
- Strong written and verbal communication. Must be able to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. Can present results in meaningful terms.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Ability to work independently and exercise discretion and personal discernment.
- Maintain 100% level of confidentiality.
