Junior Server Engineer position in Vitoria

The standard scope of this role includes : 

- find faults with basic office environment IT related problems (connectivity, application errors, operating system issues); 
- install and upgrade fileservers and network operating systems; 
- work with Prime Contractor to resolve server operating system and application issues; 
- perform basic server hardware and operating system troubleshooting; 
- distribute software packages and operating system images; 
- troubleshoot and perform incident resolution 
- administer and configure OS Feature Packs; 
- be familiar with imaging tools like Acronis, Windows Images (Wim) and Anti-Virus (-McAfee and Sophos, Symantec) 
- Active Directory design, maintenance and troubleshooting 
- Global Policy Objects, creation, modification and troubleshooting 
- Microsoft SCCM/WSUS administration 


The OSS Team is looking for an IT professional with the following: 

Technical skills: 

- Experience working and configuring Windows 10 devices 
- MCSE: specifically Server 2008 with focus on security and SQL Servers; 
- SCCM: understanding on administration, configuration and handling SQL; 
- Packaging: skills in the area of MSI Technology, adjustment of existing MSI packages with Orca (or comparable tools); 
- VB Script: create simple VB Scripts, e.g. Access to WMI, Registry, EventLog 
- create simple applications such as FrontEnd for databases or for own work optimization; 
- ITIL: ITIL Foundation (V2). 

Pre-Requisites & Experience 

Studies: Grado en Informática y Administración de Sistemas or Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior en Administración de Sistemas
Experience: at least 2 years 

Skills / Behaviours: 

Good communication skills
Proven ability to work well within a team 
Organised and efficient 
Able to self-manage
