Senior Network Engineer

The standard scope of this role includes : 

  • Plan and implement new systems
  • Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
  • Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
  • Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support
  • Manage and deliver root cause assessments for complex technical issues
  • Use diagnostic tools to determine deficiencies
  • Interaction with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
  • Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
  • Suggest new ideas and solutions to problems
  • Maintain and constantly improve existing systems
  • Participate in security management
  • Stay up to date with latest technology and best practices
  • Attend customer meetings to ensure and understanding of customer requirements and to assist with knowledge transfer
  • Quality assure deliverables, as required, produced by other team members to ensure consistency and accuracy of data
  • Successful handover of technology designs and solutions to internal or customer support function
  • Providing On-Call Out of Hours Support
  • Document writing / process creation
  • Updating and Recording of activities in relevant IT Ticket Management System

 

Who?
The TRG Team is looking for an IT professional with the following technical skills: 

•    Very good understanding and knowledge of networking and application-level operations
•    Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting:
•    CCNA/CCNP/CCNP-W/Aruba ACDP level certified, with demonstrable experience in delivery
•    Demonstrable experience of detailed level design and implementation of Cisco, Meraki and/or Aruba WLAN technologies. 
•    Demonstrable experience of detailed level design and implementation of associated security and management devices such as, HPE Comware, IMC
•    Wide experience of deploying WLAN vendor technologies as Aruba airwave, Aruba Mobility controllers and systems 
•    Fortinet firewalls administration
•    DHCP/DNS server Alcatel Lucent
•    AAA Radius authentication server
•    Server appliances
•    Develop and implement policies and classify client access to protect network systems.


Pre-Requisites & Experience 

•    Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
•    Good English Level (mínimum B2)

•    Certificates: Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), HPE Comware & Aruba ACMA/ACDA/ACSA/ACCA certificates, Fortinet NSE4, ITIL Foundation v4

•    5 years of experience on a similar role
