Deskside Engineer

TRG is looking for a Deskside Engineer in Vitoria-Gasteiz 

 

The standard scope of this role includes: 

 

•    Troubleshooting issues related to office IT environments (connectivity, application errors, operating system problems).
•    On-site support.
•    Install current Microsoft operating systems for PCs on desktops and laptops.
•    Load an image onto a desktop or laptop.
•    Install standard software applications such as Microsoft Office or other scheduled installations.
•    Install (unpack, connect to the network, and test) desktops, laptops, printers, and standard peripherals.
•    Replace components in desktops and laptops (e.g., hard drives, processors, fans, etc.).
•    Understand complex desktop and laptop installations and configurations.
•    Provide 2nd-level support for PCs and laptops.
•    Customer service.
•    Carry out other IT-related actions according to CC guidelines.
•    Ensure all work is performed according to agreed quality and service levels.
•    Handle ticketing tools and SLAs.

 

Requirements and Experience:

 

•    Intermediate Vocational Training in IT.
•    At least 2 years of proven experience in this role or similar.
•    Driving license.
•    Native-level Spanish.

•    Good communication.
•    Organization.
•    Ability to work independently.
•    Problem-solving.

 

Details of the vacancy Information needed:

 

•    Permanent Contract. 40 hours per week
•    Fully presential 
•    Flexibility to change assignation and calendar shifts. Monday to Friday coverage with the possibility of on call or weekend interventions.
•    Cobee card (Pluxee) 100€/month (11 months/year: 1100€ year) after 3 months
•    Private Health Insurance (after 6 months)
•    Access to an online platform with access to over 1,000 technical courses and preparation programmes for certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA, CCNA, PRINCE2, ORACLE, TOGAF, and many more
•   Training in different skills such as stress management, time management, communication improvement, leadership
