Marketing Event Specialist

Position Overview

The Marketing Events Manager implements and manages marketing programs and initiatives to support the sales team and the company as a whole with a focus on event planning.



  • Partners with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent with Winning Together values.
  • Understand and abide by all security and operational policies.
  • Event Planning
    • Coordinate and organize partner and customer events, working with relevant managers on invite lists, managing invitation process, fulfilment, sourcing venues, staging the events, administration, execution, follow-up and evaluation/analysis of success.
    • Assisting in all corporate events including national sales meeting, club trip, holiday parties and other miscellaneous events.
    • Coordinate tradeshow sponsorships and set-up booths with the goal to promote company services and partner products.
    • Plan all events in a timely fashion, professionally and within allocated budget.
  • Demand Generation
    • Teams in the planning, implementation, running and reporting of all marketing programs, including demand generation activities: events, seminars, webinars, mailers, telemarketing, media/publications, web site and corporate communications.
    • Manage outside marketing firms.
    • Campaign management and tracking in
  • Creative
    • Develops collateral with vendors and writers.
    • Produces Success Stories and landing pages
    • Manages the development and distribution of print ads.
    • Assists with various design work as needed.

Education & Experience Required

  • BA in Marketing, Communications or Business degree B2B marketing experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience in Event Planning in the technology industry, VAR or OEM environment preferred.
  • HTML or Web Site programming a plus.
  • Graphic design experience a plus.
  • Adobe Product experience a plus.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
