Commercial Manager (Senior Financial Analyst)

Overview

The Commercial Manager (Senior Financial Analyst) is responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of our complex and/or large Managed Services deals. This role will deliver quality and accurate financial information that will enable our Service Management team across multiple countries.

 

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent with Winning Together values.
  • Works collaboratively with the customer and the account team on one or more international accounts
  • Support Service Management teams to provide accurate global P&L forecasting
  • Provide visibility and accurate reporting of the global P&L against the baseline through the maintenance of international commercial handbooks
  • Act as single point of contact for the customer and the account team on all commercial queries
  • Manage customer billing & PO processes
  • Manage the commercial change process to ensure all cost and revenue changes are documented, approved and all impacts and variances accurately reported in P&L forecast
  • Understand, monitor and support the management of all contractual commercial triggers
  • Manage Indexation & Service Credits process
  • Provide governance, assurance and management of international risks to lead P&L including Tax, Currency, Billing Model, Costs/revenue accruals
  • Work with local finance teams to ensure correct month-end accrual and P&L closures across each CC entity
  • Ownership of the month end governance call process to review P&L performance with the account management team, finance and other key stakeholders
  • Provision of standard month end reporting of P&L performance including commentary and month end analysis of deviations from plan that provides all relevant information for service management to take ownership of actions

 

Education & Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in an international business environment
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.

 

Skills & Competencies

  • Proven track record of work experience in a challenging commercial environment
  • Experience in dealing with and influencing multi-tier management
  • Experience of developing best practice policies and procedures for functional area
  • Demonstrable commercial skills and high level of experience with P&L analysis with the ability to identify and manage risks in a P&L
  • Experience in managing implementations/transitions
  • Knowledge and experience of managing issues affecting the efficiency of international billing models e.g. tax considerations
