Lead Consultant

About the role
Provide technical governance and assurance of complex solutions that span across multiple technical streams.

 

What you'll be doing

  • Assist with pre-sales engagement; qualification of design and/or opportunities to win customer business
  • Attend and present at customer meetings to ensure and understanding of customer requirements and to assist with knowledge transfer
  • Leads technical teams and takes ownership of complex assignments that span multiple technology streams ensuring design solutions meet the customer contractual requirements 
  • Produce technical, presales and consultative documentation across technology streams
  • Quality assure all deliverables produced by team members to ensure consistency and accuracy of data
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across Computacenter
  • Keep up to date with current and future market developments, technologies, product and strategies
  • Manage design and implementation of low risk/medium scale solutions
  • Understand and abide by all security and operational policies.
  • Effective delivery of assignments using Computacenter's methodologies
  • Delivery of quality solutions
  • Achievement of utilization targets 
  • Successful handover of technology to internal or customer support function
  • Safety and security of facility.
  • Embrace and support Computacenter’s mission and core values.

 

What you have

  • Graduate level or relevant technical experience within a large organization or IT Industry
  • Relevant qualifications or accreditations in one or more technology area(s)
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Ability to design complex multi technology solutions
  • Ability to design complex technical solutions and provide input into bid, project and technical documents
  • Broad knowledge of the business benefits that technical solutions can provide
  • Ability to lead and organize a large virtual technical team, with good negotiation skills and people management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present in a group setting.
  • Prefer a strong working knowledge of computer system applications (e.g.: Windows, Microsoft Office, OSX, Salesforce).
