Join Computacenter’s globally distributed Cyber Operations team and play a key role in strengthening our Identity and Access Management capability.
Working closely with the Identity Manager and colleagues across Cyber Operations, you’ll help protect the digital identities of our employees, customers, partners and third parties. This is a hands-on technical role where you’ll design, implement and maintain secure, scalable and resilient identity solutions across Computacenter’s digital environment.
You’ll work with a broad range of stakeholders and contribute to projects that improve identity security, strengthen governance and help protect the organisation against evolving cyber threats.
What you’ll do
- Implement and maintain automated Joiner, Mover and Leaver processes, ensuring accounts are created, updated and removed accurately and promptly.
- Support the implementation and ongoing management of privileged identity solutions, including provisioning, deprovisioning and administrative access controls.
- Monitor and respond to identity-related security incidents, investigate unusual activity and support incident remediation.
- Manage workload identities, including service accounts and managed identities, with responsibility for credential rotation and lifecycle tracking.
- Translate identity policies into effective technical controls and maintain identity governance tools in line with security and audit requirements.
- Maintain the health and integrity of Active Directory and Entra ID, identifying and resolving stale, orphaned or incorrectly configured accounts.
- Produce reports and dashboards covering identity performance, anomalies, risks and threat indicators.
- Represent Identity Management in corporate and cross-functional projects, ensuring identity requirements are understood and implemented.
- Contribute technical expertise to the ongoing development of Computacenter’s identity strategy.
- Participate in a 24/7 response capability for identity-related incidents.
What you’ll need
- At least five years’ experience working with directory services, including Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Experience with authentication protocols such as SAML, OAuth 2.0 and Kerberos.
- Practical knowledge of identity lifecycle management, including automated provisioning and deprovisioning.
- Experience working with and influencing senior stakeholders.
- The ability to work effectively within a challenging commercial environment.
- Strong organisational, communication and time-management skills.
- A proactive approach to learning and keeping up to date with identity security developments and industry best practice.
- Relevant Microsoft technical certifications, ideally AZ-500 and SC-300.
It would be great if you also have
- PowerShell scripting skills.
- Knowledge of frameworks and standards such as CIS, NIST, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials and GDPR.
- An SC-100 or CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst+ certification.
- Existing Security Check clearance, or the ability to obtain it.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with clear and confident written and verbal communication.
