An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Cloud Team as a 3rd Line Support Engineer.
At Computacenter, we help leading organisations transform their IT infrastructure. As part of our dynamic Cloud Team, you’ll play a key role in delivering enterprise-level Azure services and ensuring our customers’ environments remain secure, stable, and high-performing.
Hatfield, Nottingham or Milton Keynes (full-time in office)
Must be SC Cleared, or willingness to undertake
What you’ll do
- Provide advanced support for Azure environments across compute, networking, storage, and native services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues.
- Monitor and optimise Azure platforms for performance, availability, and security.
- Lead cloud migration projects and implement automation using PowerShell.
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to deliver service excellence.
- Participate in on-call support (additional compensation provided).
What you’ll bring
- Hands-on experience managing Azure environments across multiple subscriptions and regions.
- Experience with Azure networking: VNets, Subnets, NSGs, Route Tables, Network Interfaces
- Experience with load balancing and traffic management (Azure Load Balancer, Traffic Manager)
- Strong knowledge of Azure IaaS services, networking (VNets, NSGs, ExpressRoute), and storage.
- Familiarity with Azure Key Vault, Private Endpoints, AKS, and hybrid connectivity.
Proficiency in PowerShell, Azure CLI, and automation scripting. - Exposure to Azure DevOps and Terraform.
- Proactive mindset focused on improving efficiency by reducing manual effort through automation
- Ability to help drive continuous process improvements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Certifications
Required: Microsoft AZ-104 – Azure Administrator
Desirable: Terraform Associate
