Training & Education Manager (Early Sales)
About the role
The Early Careers Education & Training Manager is responsible for the creation and management of the Sales Associate Program in Computacenter North America. Reporting to the Director of Sales Enablement, they will be managing education and career development of entry level sales talent through on the job coaching, formal training and program execution. Working closely with the Sales Enablement Operations Manager, the position will act in an ambassadorial capacity - maintaining strong stakeholder relationships within Computacenter, with selected training providers and supporting our talent acquisition team as required at on campus events. Individual will need to be collaborative and creative with a passion for Sales and the ability to deliver under pressure. Due to the complexity of our business, they will need to be inquisitive and must be able to demonstrate capacity to start and finish an early careers program that drives business value to the broader organization. Some travel will be required to fulfil the nature of the role and the role is based full time in the Norcross office.
What you'll be doing
- Partners with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent with Winning Together values.
- Designing and managing the end-to-end delivery of the Associate Programs for North America
- Overseeing the overall development of Sales Associates & eventual job placement
- Responsibility for Sales Associate performance to program milestones and targets
- Acts in a coaching capacity to upskill early talent & increase pipeline creation, revenue generation and sales closing rates
- Providing feedback to Associates on their progress during the program on the rotations and assessments throughout
- Responsibility to drive quota achievement via team of Sales Associates
- Support onboarding plan as required for all new sales personnel joining Computacenter and affiliate companies in North America
- Designing, managing and executing against program milestones in liaison with the Sales Enablement Operations Manager
- Performance management of Sales Associates if required
- Collaborating with teams across the Computacenter group to adopt ideas and share best practices
- Coordinating, completing, and overseeing job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key Associate stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet Sales Associate and business needs
- Assisting with the design and implementation of the program assessment centres including supporting with recruitment activities and facilitation on the day
- Carrying out regular reviews of the program from associates and key stakeholders and implementing improvements to ensure the program is in line with organizational strategy and the requirements of the role
- Planning and organizing events for the associates and company executives
- Identifying and communicating goals and objectives of the Sales Associate Program, acting in an ‘ambassador’ capacity
- Working alongside Sales Enablement Operations Manager & Talent Acquisition team to support on-campus recruiting events, career fairs, and information sessions to engage prospective candidates
- Creation, Management & execution of a Solution Sales Associate program
What you have
- 1+ years experience in training, teaching or sales
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Experience working in education or with Future Talent
- Supervisory experience
- Excellent organizational and multitasking ability
- Good working Knowledge of Microsoft Applications
- Management of programs, including continuous improvement
- Knowledge of sales environment & what it takes to be a successful seller
- Experience of providing management / stakeholders with business information
- Excellent Interpersonal, communication and analytical skills and ability to build relationships at all levels
- Keen interest in development of talent & sales as a career
