Team Manager, Supplier Contracts
About the role
The Supplier Contract Manager will be responsible for assigning, allocating and tracking all new suppler contracts for current and future projects. The Supplier Contract Manager will also assist in evaluating staff, developing staff through departmental rotation or project variety, and training and recruitment requirements.
What you'll be doing
- Partners with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent with Winning Together values.
- Understand the important of new supplier on boarding and enforces the correct procedure.
- Works with legal, the supplier and the account team to ensure contracts are in place in a timely manner.
- Ensure systems are in place to monitor and priorities workload of the team
- Recruitment and onboarding of ALL new vendors (domestic and international)
- Works closely with Partner Management to ensure commercial terms are part of the contract agreement form day 1 – this includes standard supplier rebates for all suppliers to Computacenter
- In addition to supplier contracting will be responsible for the build out and running of the “deal reg desk”
- Ensures all deal regs are verified and adapted to ensure the highest success rate of approval
- Challenges deal reg rejections with partners to get them overturned
- Produces regular reports on all open deal registrations, won, closed and lost
- Manages the team to ensure they are productive and have a good understanding of where the deal reg sits in the sales cycle
- Has excelled supplier relationships and negotiation skills to overcome challenges and rejections

What you have
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Must have 7+ years of Technology industry experience.
- 5-10 years of experience managing teams in the product business, datacenter or networking industry or similar experience.
- Must possess a proven track record of fiscal responsibility with managing resources and budget, a high level of professionalism as well as excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Possess and be able to expand extensive knowledge about vendor partnerships and Computacenter Inc solutions and be able to communicate these to other departments.
- Must have a good knowledge of the “Companies” of Computacenter (Pivot, ProSys, ACS)
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Must provide strong leadership including vision and promoting/leading change.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Professional self-starter as well as working collaboratively with others.
- Ability to collaborate with internal departments effortlessly.
- Ability to work with a cross-functional team that includes all levels of the organization.
- Project a professional image and strong business acumen during customer interactions.
- Familiarity with the technical concepts, terms and practices used in the assessment and implementation of product reselling.
- Excellent computer skills including MS Office.
- Familiarity with Sales Force, SAP and Reporting tools
- Ability to assess, create staffing plans and associated budgets within plan.
