Senior Tax Analyst

About the role
The main responsibility of the Senior Tax Analyst is to ensure that sales tax is billed, reported and paid in a timely fashion.  This position is part of a tax group that includes payroll and may be asked to assist in not only other areas of tax, but also payroll related items.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare and manage all sales/use tax returns
• Monitor sales tax reporting software database for integrity and maintenance
• Maintain current knowledge of sales tax laws, updates, revisions, and inform management of issues affecting the Company.         
• Maintenance of sales tax accounts, including investigates and reconciles discrepancies.
• Partners with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent with Winning Together values.
• Embrace and support Computacenter mission and core values.

What you have

• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
• 3-5 years of sales tax compliance
• Good understanding of state and local sales/use tax concepts, practice and procedures
• Communicates ideas both verbally and written clearly and concise
• Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively and efficiently
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize, perform multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, highly proficient in Excel. (e.g., Excel formulas, V-lookups, pivot tables) 
• Extremely detail oriented, problem solver and takes accountability for work performed. 
• Strong verbal skills, effectively able to communicate via solid writing skills.
• Professional self-starter, able to work independently, and has strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with others. 
• Willingness to take on more responsibilities as needed.
• Prior knowledge of NetSuite and Salesforce is a plus.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion and personal judgment
