Reporting Developer (Qlik Sense Cloud)

About the role
The Business Intelligence Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that enable data-driven decision-making. This role involves leveraging expertise in PowerBI and Qlik Sense Cloud to create insightful dashboards, reports, and data models. The Business Intelligence Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.

 

What you'll be doing

  • BI Solution Development: Design and develop BI solutions using PowerBI and Qlik Sense Cloud
  • Data Modeling: Create and maintain data models to support reporting and analytics
  • Dashboard Creation: Develop interactive and visually appealing dashboards to present data insights
  • Report Generation: Generate and automate reports to provide actionable insights to stakeholders
  • Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources to provide comprehensive reporting
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and optimize the performance of BI solutions
  • Collaboration: Work closely with business users, data analysts, and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to users on BI tools and best practices
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest BI technologies and trends to continuously improve solutions

 

What you have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business intelligence, with specific experience in PowerBI and Qlik Sense Cloud
  • Proficiency in PowerBI and Qlik Sense Cloud
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and data modeling
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to create visually appealing and user-friendly dashboards.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities

 

Bonus

  • Relevant certifications in PowerBI, Qlik Sense, or other BI tools
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with ETL processes, data warehousing, and cloud platforms
