Ecommerce Operations & Integration Specialist

Position Overview 

As part of TS Innovation team, you will continually refine and develop Tech Sourcing Operations’ global process vision and executes transformation programs. TSI serves as a driving force to deliver real, implemented, change to the business and to measure and track qualitative and quantitative benefits. 

 

Duties/Responsibilities 

  • Partner with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent with Winning Together values. 

  • Embrace and support Computacenter’s mission and core values. 

Projects  

  • Overall responsibility for the provision of conceptual services to support the client in the development and implementation of electronic procurement strategies  

  • Technical management of the departments and technical resources involved  

  • Quality assurance of the project results and documentation to be prepared  

  • Presentation of project results and concepts to the customer's IT management; management of project meetings with IT management of the customer  

  • Implementation of the project controlling; responsibility for compliance with the scope of services of the entire specialist team; management of measures in the event of technical problems or additional services arising outside the scope of the contract  

  • Timely preparation of project-related documentation according to customer specifications and company standard, specification of structures for documentations  

  • Responsibility for successful project completion taking into account customer satisfaction, quality, efficient performance, project profitability and project acceptance  

  • Provision of consulting services to customers with a focus on evaluating requirements for electronic business transactions and to implement them in solutions 

PreSales/Sales  

  • Presales activities will be predominately the function of Expert Services and Business Development; however, support to help conclude unique demands and integrations will require the support of e-business subject matter experts.  

  • Building material that can be used by sales and the BDM function to position our system offerings correctly.  

Ongoing development  

  • The SME trains themself independently in their subject area and makes sure that the topics are covered in their responsibility area must be constantly developed further and meet a standard that is in line with the market. 

 

Education & Experience Required 

  • Legally eligible to work in the United States. 

  • Experience uploading catalogs into platforms such as Sage, Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud

  • Experience interacting and partnering with developers

  • Development experience a plus

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience 

 

Skills & Competencies 

  • Qualification in relevant professional qualification or proven track record working in specialist area  

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar position (project management, business Integration)  

  • IT generalist: comprehensive understanding of technology in all IT-relevant specialist areas  

  • Experience in the technical management of project teams  

  • Detailed knowledge of various e-commerce solutions  

  • Technical knowledge of B2B e-Business solutions (marketplaces, inbound/outbound EDI flows, etc.)  

  • Basics of Xml and Html languages and Photoshop  

  • Practical knowledge of project planning and management methods  

  • Ability to work in a team and active cultivation of open and constructive working relationships 

  • Good knowledge of the IT industry and an understanding of IT technologies and products.  

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Comfortable communicating with colleagues in different countries where English is not the first spoken language. 

  • Good self-organization and time management skills. 

  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple requests simultaneously. 

  • Can build trust, be assertive when required and shows initiative and enthusiasm. 

  • Resilience, and able to deal with stressful situations. 

  • Business and financial acumen with strong analytical skills. 

  • Demonstrate an understanding of product supply chains. 

  • Commercially astute. 

  • Willingness to travel.
