Business Change Program Manager
About the role
Within Computacenter, since the establishment of our differentiating Group ERP systems and Group Operating Model, Computacenter’s Business Change (Industrialization) team has led large international business change programs that effect multiple business functions or countries. Working closely with designated Global Process Owners, Subject Matter Experts from business functions and Group Information Systems teams the Industrialization team ensures that the end-to-end change objectives are achieved.
The Industrialization team works exclusively on Executive sponsored programs of change utilizing the deep knowledge of “How” Computacenter is most effective in working as one team to achieve the goals of our customers, our employees and our shareholders.
This unique function enables change that delivers extensive long-term value, often leading change activity that cannot be achieved by single units working in isolation, often challenging the status quo in the interest of achieving scalable success.
With a successful track record of Business Change Implementation, we are now expanding our team and are looking to hire a Change Program Manager to lead Business Change Initiatives within our Business Change Portfolio.
What you’ll be doing
- Define design and lead large-scale strategic and complex Change Programs within the Industrialisation Change Portfolio.
- Have awareness of, and be able to articulate, where Organization design and/or adjustment of the Computacenter operational business model is required in order to achieve implementation of Change Initiatives.
- Be able to understand the scope and be responsible for ensuring the Value Realization of Change Initiatives, ensure the Business Value Generation strategy is clear.
- Be able to understand technical information to a level that it can be articulated into a clear and compelling Business narrative for change
- Lead and direct implementation of Business Change Initiatives, working collaboratively with teams across the Business to ensure successful implementation
- Where required, oversee the contracting of, and the direction of external third-party stakeholders contributing to implementation of the Business Change
- Work with the Industrialisation Communications Manager and the Business to produce the Communications Strategy to prepare the Business for the impact of the changes being implemented
- Own the issues and risk mitigation strategy to ensure successful implementation, escalating to the Head of Business Change (Industrialisation) as required.
- Be accountable for the production of Change Management Strategy, Change Management MS Project Plans, Impact Assessments, ADKAR assessments and other key collateral as required
- Other specific accountabilities include:
- Scope Management (own the Change Management Strategy to include definition of the Program scope with a precise understanding of the Program structure required for its successful implementation.
- Own the Change Management Plan (and be accountable for on-time implementation of the Change program including leading and managing all associated stakeholders and contributors to the program plan.
- Accountable for Resource management and the People Plan
- P&L accountability for the Change
- Business value generation – using Change Management principles to drive, where possible, additional business value to the Business Case.
- Demonstrate excellent collaboration skills with the implementation team and stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrate excellent people management skills in terms of leading the implementation team (to include team building, team motivation, mentoring and coaching)
- Travel Internationally
What you have
- Formal accreditation or certification in Program Management or Change Management.
- Proven track record as an Expert delivering large-scale International Business Change programs.
- Demonstrated experience of leading and influencing others
- Demonstrated experience in coaching and mentoring others.
- Demonstrated negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
- Demonstrated well-developed stakeholder management skills and experience of successfully building relationships and networks with a diverse range of people to achieve collaboration, develop common goals and implement significant Business Change outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience in identifying and managing organisational design and development impacts when managing and implementing Business Change in an organisation
- Ability to work within a team-oriented global culture
- Strong demonstrated understanding of contractual and/or commercial implications associated with Change Initiative implementations
- Comfortable handling sensitive information under pressure
- Demonstrated analytical skill and capability
- Comfortable with IT-related Change Initiatives
- Ability to be flexible and multi-task on a daily basis
- Confidence that you can thrive in a fast-paced Business Change environment
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience
