Senior Communications Manager
We are looking for a passionate communications professional who is experienced in leading internal and external communications to drive employee engagement and brand visibility and share of voice.

 

The team
You will be part of Group Marketing and will work alongside colleagues in multiple geographies and multiple areas of the business, to ensure that we are effectively communicating our story to our customers, partners and employees in an engaging and memorable way.
You will work closely with multi-function teams, based in various countries to ensure that there is clarity and seamlessness in our comms strategy and that there is a proactive and forward-looking approach to getting our message out and getting it heard. 


Responsibilities

•    Lead for all group level internal and external communications activities 
•    Development and driving of communications strategy, goals, budget and tactics in line with both local and global priorities.
•    Develop a communications framework to support Group and functional leaders with driving internal communications programmes and employee engagement initiatives ensuring that our employees feel that they have a full understanding of key initiatives, overall group strategy and how they are impacted.
•    Be closely aligned to the employee survey results to ensure that all comms related feedback is addressed and catered for in the overall comms strategy.
•    Guide and advise on executive communications and increase the visibility of key leaders in the market.
•    Engage external audiences across traditional and new media, including both paid and organic social media amplification.
•    Develop and maintain close, productive and strategic relationships with media outlets and external communications partners
•    Manage media inquiries, media relations and interview requests. Conduct proactive media pitches to help build brand visibility and presence.
•    Create press releases, by-line articles and keynote presentations, executive speech writing etc as part of our efforts to improve brand awareness and voice in the market.
•    Monitor, analyse and communicate PR results on a monthly basis.
•    Create a framework for media training and maintain a list of trained spokespeople
•    Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness.
•    Drive local awards programme and key industry awards such as the CRN Awards.


Position

•    Proven working experience of 6-7 years preferably in the technology sector and within global companies or working for international brands.
•    Experience with a wide range of marketing disciplines, and understanding of how to leverage paid, owned and other channels.
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills, including senior stakeholder and exec management.

•    Quick learner who can quickly grasp the scope of internal and external needs and develop a clear communications strategy with a clearly prioritised list of activities.
•    Excellent writing and storytelling skills willing to challenge the status quo and demonstrate best practice in communicating your messaging in a memorable and compelling way
•    Strong project management skills in multitasking; able to juggle multiple priorities and take end-to-end ownership of projects
•    Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns 
•    Be a strategic thinker as well as a practical doer, comfortable getting things done despite limited resources
•    Articulate, confident and tactful in interacting with senior leadership, from presenting an internal communications plan to facilitating executive press interviews
•    Develop, measure and report on metrics that inform strategy and track performance.
