Service Manager

Location: UK - Mobile England | Job-ID: 162842 | Contract type: Standard | Business Unit: IT Service Delivery/Managed Services


A Service Manager is sought to work on a large and growing key Computacenter customer.  The successful applicant will work with a fantastic team across all aspects of the Computacenter engagement with this customer.  

The role is customer focussed and involves ensuring we deliver to our commitments, maintain strategic alignment, drive growth and contract renewal.


Day to day activities will include the following:

  • Managing Service Relationships
  • Driving customer satisfaction on services
  • Aligning and supporting the service account strategy
  • Managing contract financial perf. (Contract P&L)
  • Leading the Services Team
  • Services Governance 
  • Contract Management & In life Changes
  • Managing Services Outcomes (Contractual Services and Professional Services from an accountability perspective)
  • Managing Risks & Issues
  • Involved in supporting the teams growing the business i.e. incremental growth and contract renewals where required
  • Driving commercial and contractual continuous service improvement activities
  • Customer service reporting

Essential requirements:

  • Experience in Service Management – must have worked as a supplier service manager.
  • Excellent IT skills and a good general technical knowledge
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent Verbal and Written English communication skills.



  • Standard Computacenter Working Hours.
  • Work location is flexible in line with customer needs but with travel as required potentially to Computacenter and customer sites typically in the London area.
