Human Resources Administrator
About the role
The Human Resources Administrator will support the Computacenter Canada Inc. entity with an administration of HR related responsibilities and various projects ensuring smooth and efficient operations of the HR function. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with an exciting and expanding Human Resources team across North America.
What you'll be doing
- Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance or direct to appropriate staff
- Represent HR team and work collaboratively with all departments on designated topics and follow up
- Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records and conducts periodic audits of HR files
- Handle ad-hoc requests within HR team
- Produce and submit reports on general HR activity as needed
- Liaise with Payroll and Finance teams to ensure accurate tracking of employee data
- Ensure the payroll changes report is regularly updated and ready for each payroll processing with any items that will impact payroll/employee’s pay
- Conduct new hire orientations specific to Canada
- Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) to ensure accurate and current
- Work closely with Senior HR Assistants with the onboarding and offboarding process to ensure a smooth and efficient process
- Assist the Senior HR Benefits Consultant with leave of absences and benefits administration specific to Canada
- Liaise with Human Resources Business Partners to assist them with supporting their respective business areas
- Understand the human resources policies and ensure they are current working closely with Legal and HR manager to ensure compliance
- Maintain People page on intranet for all updates related to Canada
- Partner with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent with Winning Together values

What you have
- BS/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; additional education in Human Resource Management will be a plus or equivalent in recent experience
- Experience and general understanding of leave of absence and benefits administration in Canada
- Experience with HR databases and HRIS systems (SAP, ADP, SuccessFactors)
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Proven experience as an HR administrator or relevant human resources/administrative position
- A working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures
- Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices
- Strong ability in using MS Office (Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint, in particular)
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle data with the highest level of confidentiality
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize and handle multiple requests simultaneously
- Excellent attention to detail
- Team-oriented working and thinking
