Senior Deskside Engineer

Our TRG Team in Spain is looking for a Senior Deskside Engineer with:

Role

•    Identifying and solving various IT issues within the established time and quality (connectivity, application errors, operating system failures, etc.).
•    Configuring and preparing video conference rooms.
•    Organizing and inventorying the warehouse.
•    Installing Microsoft Operating Systems and imaging devices (desktops, laptops, tablets, and PDAs).
•    Installing software and other scripts.
•    Replacing components (hard drives, processors, etc.) in different types of devices (desktops, laptops, tablets, and PDAs).
•    User support.
•    Performing other IT-related tasks following Computacenter's directives.
•    Stock control.
•    Documenting and constantly communicating with different on-site or remote teams.
•    Mobility is required for the technician to provide services at different sites.


Additional tasks to the role

•    Define equipment needed 
•    Check stock 
•    Collect equipment from/to stock 
•    Test equipment 
•    Configure equipment 
•    Install/uninstall equipment in rooms 
•    Create/update/close ServiceNow and Remedy tickets 
•    Update operational procedures 
•    Propose operational improvements 


Concerned equipment:

•    Screens, Touch panels, Digital signage 
•    Fixed phones, CISCO devices 
•    Webcams, Mics 
•    Cables 



Necessary Knowledge:


- Google Suite
- Service Now
- Microsoft Office
- Windows
- iOS
- Jira

- Remedy


Pre-Requisites & Experience:

-    Proven experience of at least 4 years as a Deskside Engineer in a Microsoft environment.
-    Intermediate or Advanced Vocational Training in Computer Science
-    Fluent in English & Spanish
-    NATO nationality

Details of the vacancy Information needed:

• Fully presential 
• Monday to Friday coverage with the possibility of on call or weekend interventions. 
• Rotative shifts (8h to 17h or 9h to 18h)
• Vetting consent required
• Pluxee card (Sodexo) 180€/month (11 months/year: 1980€ year) after 3 months and private health insurance (Sanitas) after 6 months
