Deskside Engineer

In Spain we are a Global Service Desk. We tailor IT related knowledge and services, and assist every employee and business partners of our customers as an individual, by finding practical solutions to their IT problems.
Our TRG team is looking for a Deskside Engineer in Alcalá de Henares, Madrid.
Responsabilities
• Find faults with office environment IT related problems (connectivity, application errors, operating system issues).
• On-site support.
• Install current Microsoft operating systems for PC’s, onto a desktop and laptop
• Load an image onto a desktop and laptop.
• Load standard software applications such as Microsoft Office or other scripted installs.
• Install (unpack, connect to the network and test) standard desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals.
• Replace components in both desktops and laptops (e.g. hard drives, processors, fans etc.).
• Understand complex desktop and laptop installations and configurations.
• 2nd Line Support of PCs & Laptops.
• Management of print queues and toner replacement
• Customer Service.
• Hands and Eyes support for network infrastructure.
• Performing other IT related actions as guided by CC.
• Ensuring all work is carried out to the agreed quality and service levels.

Pre-Requisites & Experience:
- Proven experience of at least 2 years as a Deskside Technician
- Intermediate or Advanced Vocational Training in Computer Science
- Fluent in Spanish & Intermediate English (B1)

What we offer:
• Permanent Contract
• Fully presential, Monday to Friday 40h/week 08:00 - 17:00
• Probation period: 6 months
• Ticket restaurant of 1100€ gross/year (Cobee) after 3 months and Private Health Insurance after 6 months.
