Customer Engineer

About the role 

As a Customer Engineer, you will provide a range of hardware, software, and network technical support, that include troubleshooting, staging and configuration, and resolving tickets for internal and external customers. 

 

Salary range: $21/HR - $28/HR USD


What you’ll be doing 

  • Perform a range of technical work activities at customer site to meet business and customer requirements supporting IMAC activities: 
  • Including but not limited to imaging of PC devices, asset & inventory management, desk setups, desktop technology relocations, and end user infrastructure deployments 
  • Coordinate small teams delivering basic work packages in line with company processes to meet business and customer requirements.  
  • Document and reports on work completed to ensure compliance with Company and Customer Procedures. 
  • Escalate issues in line with company processes to ensure customer demands are met and evaluate escalations and action appropriately to ensure customer demands are met 
  • Provide customer service to internal and external customers to ensure consistent experience.  
  • Ability to adapt quickly to dynamic team environments to maintain consistent effective contribution. 
     

What you have  

Role Responsibilities:

  • Update, assign, and decommission asset information within ServiceNow
  • Desktop\Laptop support services(Windows and Mac)
  • Conference Room support(Google and Crestron)
  • Account management(passwords, access, and account info)


Role Requirements & Applicable Technologies:

  • 2 years of work experience
  • Excellent proficiency in written and verbal communication
  • Resiliency/Flexibility
  • Windows and OSX security fundamentals
  • Knowledge and prior use of Ticket-tracking software
  • Familiarity with servicing abroad spectrum of development collaboration tools, including Active Directory, Duo, YubiKey and Google Apps/Suite, and SSO
  • Foundational understanding of Agile
  • Can lift 50+lbs
