We are in the process of growing our Data Driven Centre of Enablement team and are looking for a high performing sales specialist to engage with our largest customers to position the offerings and services that we have built around Data Platforms, Data Engineering and Data Management. Computacenter's offerings are developed around best of breed solutions with a Computacenter services wrap and a core team of vendor partners that are co creating with us. The successful applicant will be responsible as a subject matter expert to engage, understand, qualify, propose and lead the successful closure of identified Data projects or service opportunities with both our generalist sales teams and our partners sales teams. 


Main Responsibilities

  • Work with the Account team to identify Data Opportunities in Platform, management and Engineering and develop pipeline within our existing Customers base.
  • To provide end-to-end ownership for specialist aligned opportunities
  • Own the qualification process with the customer account teams
  • Assisting the customer through a process of understanding their requirements, defining a solution, creating a compelling proposition and will be responsible for negotiating commercials and closing the deal
  • Responsible for managing the internal service providers and any external suppliers
  • Work as part of the Data Driven Centre of enablement providing customer feedback to help our continuous development 
  • Evaluate contract spend in a given organization in order to optimize spending patterns, technology usage, and implementation strategies  
  • Show insight and thought leadership to our customers and partners regarding Data contracts and commercial agreements
  • Develop strong knowledge of industry trends by developing proactive professional relationships with vendor partners
  • Provide leadership and knowledge to customers and maintain a strong presence in the platform and hybrid industry community
  • Develop strategy to maximise opportunities and grow market share


The Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum of 5 years experience selling into Enterprise organisations
  • Minimum of 2 years experience selling Data Driven and Cloud Solutions
  • Proven experience operating as a specialist / overlay
  • Proven track record of winning Data deals between £500k to £5million
  • Experience negotiating large, complex deals
  • Ability to build relationships and develop strategic partnerships
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding targets
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment
