Team overview

 

Our Sales Order Management team play a crucial part in our business as we process all orders placed through our Sales/Account Management functions for both our national and global clients.

 

Our role is to ensure all order administration is completed accurately and efficiently, that we deliver on time and on budget as promised - and that we deliver the high service levels both our customers and technology partners know us for.

 

We’re looking to recruit a Sales Order Management Specialist/Associate to join our fun and friendly team that will provide this effective and efficient administrative support to our sales team.

 

What you’ll be doing

 

You’ll be data inputting into our system (SAP), so be prepared for a highly administrative workload. You’ll frequently communicate with key stakeholders – including our customers, suppliers and shipping partners to ensure the delivery of orders.

 

This will include:

  • Processing customer orders accurately with team SLA targets
  • Ensure all orders are checked to ensure they are correct to quote, configured correctly and in line with sourcing supply
  • Ensure all pricing agreements and applicable discounts are applied to customer orders
  • Liaise with the customer management team and sales team if there are any issues with an order or the specifications
  • Ensure compliance of orders i.e. overseas/global orders
  • Processing returns and ensure credits are processed on system
  • Resolving any order/invoicing queries.
     

What you’ll bring

 

We’re looking for someone with experience of working in a busy, fast-paced environment. You’ll need to be a confident administrator, able to process data quickly and quality check information as you go.

 

We’re also looking for:

  • Previous experience within Sales Order Processing (SOP) / Sales Order Management (SOM) customer service position preferably with in the IT industry
  • Experience in handling large, complex and domestic and international customer orders/projects
  • Able to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Must have excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to work on own initiative
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships
  • Able to work to deadlines
  • Knowledge of project coordination is desirable but not essential.
