Our new formed Cyber Security Project Management team is hiring, we are looking for you to join us as a Project Manager.  

 

Looking to grow, have an impact on the business, ‘be thrown in the deep end’ and deliver projects end to end? Then this might be the role for you. With the newly formed Cyber project management team, we are looking for a Project Manager who takes proactive steps to initiate seamless project processes and outcomes as well as taking full accountability to deliver within deadlines, budgets, and quality controls. The environment is fast paced and expanding which mean this role plays a key part in determining the overall success of key business objectives to drive value. You will be working with senior stakeholders and a variety of teams including Consultants, Engineers and the SOC to drive decisions, deliverables and ultimately successful outcomes. 

 

 

What you’ll be doing

 

 

  • Perform a complex range of technical work activities either remotely or at customer site to meet business and customer requirements. 
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently varying in cost and complexity. 
  • Deliver, maintain, and manage common project deliverables such as Minutes, RAID, Commercials, and legal components 
  • Work with service and technical owners to deliver beneficial outcomes to minimise Cyber Risk to Computacenter. 
  • Governance Reporting / Checkpoint / Highlight Reports - Analyse, document, and report on work completed to ensure compliance with company procedures. 
  • Develop best practice procedures and guidelines to ensure consistent compliance to customer and company procedures. 
  • Supporting BAU documentation and service elements – Ensuring that operational documentation is fit for purpose and current and have responsibility for effective handover of the project / programme into Business-as-Usual operations.
  • Communicate on complex risks or issues to meet business and customer requirements to avoid escalations. 
  • Evaluate escalations and resolve appropriately to ensure customer demands are met. 
  • Act in accordance with Computacenter Information Security Policies and report any potential or actual Security events or other Security risks to the organisation.
  • Quality assurance on all deliverables produced by team members to ensure consistency and accuracy of data. 
  • Build, develop and maintain constructive client relationships, both inside and outside of Computacenter. 
  • Manage design and implementation of low risk / medium scale solutions. 
  • Keep up to date with current and future market developments, technologies, product, and strategies


What you’ll bring

 

  • Previous experience in a project management role, preferably in the Cyber industry.
  • Demonstrates analytical and systematic approach to resolving complex problems and assignments. 
  • Experience of leading and managing teams with proven track record of working with diverse, cross functional teams that are located regionally and worldwide.
  • Experience of overcoming challenging interactions with Senior Executives across the business.  
  • Ability to direct and influence people in a complex environment and establish working partnerships at a junior and senior organisational level.
  • Takes initiative in identifying and negotiating appropriate development opportunities. 
  • Demonstrates the ability to absorb and apply technical information. 
  • The ability to use a broad range of information systems, technology functions and applications in line with IT industry standards as appropriate to the role. 
  • Ideally certified in appropriate technologies to support business strategy. 
  • The ability to engage and influence on complex issues at all levels both internally and customer facing. 
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to design complex multi technology solutions
