As our Presales Project Manager within Group Professional Services (GPS), you’ll be at the heart of designing and positioning high-value, innovative solutions for customers—working with leading-edge technology and collaborating closely with a highly skilled and supportive team. From scoping and planning through to costing, documentation, and early-stage project definition, you’ll ensure customers have absolute clarity and confidence in the solutions we recommend in the project delivery space. You’ll also benefit from comprehensive training and continuous development to support your success in the role.

What you’ll do

• Engaging confidently with customers to understand requirements and shape commercially and technically sound solutions in the project delivery space. 
• Leading the creation of high quality, customer facing proposals that align with customer requirements, needs and business objectives. 
• Managing presales activity end-to-end, including scoping, planning, costing, and early project definition. 
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders at all levels to ensure clarity, alignment, and smooth transition into project delivery. 
• Presenting solutions clearly and persuasively through exceptional written and verbal communication. 
• Producing contractual documentation which delivers the required customer outcomes and meets our commercial strategy, while providing the mechanisms for the management of in-life change and risk, 
• Delivery of a successful handover into project delivery teams. 

What you’ll need

• Extensive experience in a Professional Services project presales environment, with a strong background producing customer ready proposals. 
• Commercial acumen, demonstrated through managing scoping, costing, and early stage project changes. 
• Exceptional communication skills, able to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. 
• A genuine passion for understanding customer needs and defining effective solutions. 
• Strong experience in project initiation, planning, and end-to-end delivery ownership. 
• A proven track record in leading successful customer-focused projects. 
• SC clearance or ability to pass
