Are you a collaborative technology leader with a passion for shaping modern workplace experiences and leading high-performing teams? We’re looking for an experienced Practice Lead to join our expanding Consultancy Practice, helping to drive the evolution of our Workplace Collaboration capability.
You’ll join a dynamic and fast-growing Consultancy Practice at Computacenter, where innovation, collaboration and thought leadership are at the heart of everything we do.
As part of our Workplace Collaboration function, you’ll work alongside experienced consultants, architects, technical specialists, sales teams and strategic partners to deliver forward-thinking solutions that create real value for customers.
This is a role with strong influence across both our internal teams and customer engagements. You’ll help shape strategic service offerings, mentor talented consultants, and guide organisations through their digital transformation journeys. What you’ll do
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of Microsoft 365 and Unified Collaboration architects and consultants, supporting their growth and performance
- Oversee team utilisation, resource planning and commercial performance to support the team’s P&L
- Advise customers on digital transformation strategies, collaboration roadmaps and technology adoption
- Build strong stakeholder relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to customers and internal teams
- Lead and support pre-sales activities, including responses to large-scale RFPs, RFIs and ITTs
- Collaborate with consultancy, engineering, sales and operational teams to design innovative workplace collaboration solutions
- Partner with strategic vendors and solution leaders to develop market-relevant Microsoft 365 and Unified Collaboration offerings
- Ensure governance and delivery assurance standards are maintained across transformation engagements
- Promote thought leadership and raise awareness of our capabilities through internal and external engagement channels
What you’ll need
- Extensive experience in IT consultancy, with strong knowledge of consulting and project delivery methodologies
- Proven line management experience, with the ability to coach, mentor and inspire technical professionals
- Strong technical expertise in Microsoft 365, Directory Services, Unified Collaboration, and wider workplace technologies
- A solid understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud architecture, and digital transformation initiatives
- Experience in solution development and pre-sales, including requirements analysis, solution design and cost modelling
- Strong knowledge of governance and assurance processes across pre-sales and delivery
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently with C-level executives, senior leaders and technical teams
- Experience creating and leading virtual teams across multiple functions
- Strong commercial awareness, including utilisation forecasting and service development
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at every level
- A proactive mindset with the drive to innovate and shape new collaboration services
