Team Overview

 

Partner Sales & Services is a sales function within the UK Solutions business responsible for the design and execution of the Sales & Services strategy with our Strategic partners. This is a collaborative function working in close alignment with Partner Management, Lines of Business and Solution Leaders. Our focus is to drive growth through execution of cohesive joint business plans, and to secure Computacenter as the preferred Route to Market for our strategic partners.

 

What you’ll be doing

 

Reporting directly into the Head of Partner Sales and Services, the role will be working across all of Computacenter’s UKI Sectors to identify opportunities, drive profitable growth in revenue terms for both Technology, Professionals Services and Alliance partner consumption metrics. The goal is to ensure that Computacenter are the preferred “Route to Market” for the strategic partners in our target market customers to optimise our penetration into our target market and win new name customers and deliver sustainable growth to the organisation.

 

Sales & Alliance activity 70%

  • Responsible for driving strategic partner alliances for our target market customers on behalf of our solutions business lines to increase revenue terms for both Technology, Professionals Services and Alliance partner consumption metrics
  • Develop and drive the strategic CC Value Proposition to support the growth of business between Computacenter and Partner Teams
  • Ensure Computacenter is seen as the ‘go-to’ Partner within the Partner at all levels
  • Provide leadership of joint “Go to Market” initiatives with the Partner
  • Own the sales delivery of UKI acceleration Plans Associated to the aligned Alliances partner
  • Representation at key Partner events, conferences, and strategic forums to provide direction to the Computacenter UKI teams and devise strategies to capitalise on market opportunity 
  • Own Sector Collaboration & Engagement Plans to drive growth within their target market customers
  • Support the enablement of the Alliance Ecosystem – ISV’s and Services Partners

 

Strategic & Operational Activities 20%

  • Identify competency and funding programs to accelerate growth opportunities
  • Contribute to the development and execution of multi-year Business Development plans
  • Evaluate the market and provide markets insight and strategic summaries to enable senior Computacenter stakeholders to make informed decisions
  • Enable appropriate engagement between Partner and Senior UKI executives
  • Accountable for ensuring that Computacenter does what it commits to as part of the joint business plan.

 

Virtual team engagement & Leadership 10%

  • Support the Lines of Business and Solution Leaders with the development of the go to market strategies and investment planning for Services
  • Support the engagement of Partner Management into the Alliance Partner to enable commercial differentiation through Partner programs and to maximise available funding opportunities.
  • Support the engagement of Purchasing Operations and wider Group Technology Sourcing Teams into the Alliance Partner to manage operational elements that underpin the relationship.
  • To Support all Services sales functions to build pipeline in line with the agreed business plan
  • Engage with our in-house marketing teams to formulate lead generation and awareness plans


What you’ll bring

 

•    Proven track record in driving professional services growth within the public cloud market.
•    Strong commercial and business acumen
•    Good experience & knowledge of key Partner and their proposition including all marketplace and cloud consumption models
•    Good understanding of the Technology competitive Landscape
•    Strong experience of leading Alliance and ‘sell through/with’ programmes
•    Strong personal network within Alliance partner
•    Gravitas and Credibility at CXO level
•    Enterprise Technology and Services “proficient/aware”
•    Effective Leadership of Virtual teams
•    Ability to work in an Agile Manner
•    Ability to understand and articulate a Business Value Proposition
