Life on the team
The Technical Resource Group (TRG) specialises in delivering intermediate to advanced desktop installation, configuration, support, and troubleshooting services. Additionally, we provide basic Wintel server installation, configuration, administration, and break-fix solutions.
In this role, you’ll deliver hands-on technical IT support to one of our key customers, who operate across multiple UK sites. If you have a passion for IT, along with some knowledge of desktop/laptop technologies and Windows operating systems, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

What you’ll do
- The role will be based onsite at one of our clients’ offices in London
- Provide basic to intermediate level desktop installation
- Configuration, support and troubleshooting services in the Wintel environment
- Providing basic desktop support, offering simple fixes and fixing known errors
- Provide effective and efficient customer service to the customer
- Communicate with the customer keeping them informed progress to avoid escalations
- Becoming hardware and software skilled and accredited through the appropriate vendor training programmes.
What you’ll need
- An understanding of desktop/laptop technologies and windows operating systems
- Desire to further your career in desktop support in a corporate setting
- To be eligible for SC clearance
- Customer focussed, happy to provide great service to users in a professional environment
- Adaptable and welcoming of change and communicating change to customers
- Great customer facing skills with the ability to build rapport with customers at all levels
- Ability to develop technical skills.
