What you’ll be doing 

 

Reporting directly into the UKI Platform & Hybrid IT (PHIT) Director the role will be working across all of Computacenter’s UKI Sectors to identify opportunities, drive profitable growth in revenue terms across all of Computacenter go to market offerings. The goal is to ensure that Computacenter win new name customers and deliver sustainable growth to the organisation.

 

What you’ll be doing

 

  • Supports the execution of Divisional objectives 
  • To recruit and retain members of sales team
  • Contribute positively to our culture and dynamic 
  • Accountable for the performance and results of the sales team 
  • Manages, motivates, develops, and coaches team to ensure the delivery of department and business targets
  • Provide effective leadership to drives change, innovation, and growth across the Department
  • Take accountability for the delivery of significant business focused projects/deliverables to defined targets
  • Support the performance of the P&L ensuring that spend is in line with budgetary limitations
  • Accountable for ensuring adoption of CC best practice and service offerings to ensure consistency of service. 
  • Support the growth of a dedicated sector  

 

What you’ll bring

 

  • Previous management experience of leading Sales Teams
  • Ability to manage, motivate, coach, and develop a sales team.
  • Excellent understanding of coaching Sales Methodologies 
  • Proven track record in sales
  • Background in Datacentre and Cloud technologies
  • An interest or experience in the growth of the Data Market 
  • The ability to represent our offerings to customers, partners, and employees
  • Understanding and appreciation of competitors and their strategy
  • Commercial, Financial, and legal understanding
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills applied across the various customer organisations
  • Ability to build effective and constructive relationships across a number of larger and more complex customers and opportunities at all levels.
  • Ability to resolve significant customer issues whilst moving the business forward.
