Head of Sales - Cloud and Applications

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Leader to oversee sales in our Cloud and Applications Solution Area. If you have a passion for helping customers leverage the best technologies within the Cloud & Applications space, then this maybe the opportunity for you. You will lead, develop and grow a successful team of sales specialists in a high-performing and rewarding culture and be a critical part of making their success a reality.


Our team are responsible for winning hearts and minds in our customers and selling Developer Velocity and Public Cloud oriented solutions and services. You will support them to drive campaigns and opportunities into the world’s largest organisations and be an instrumental part in constructing and closing deals. In your position as a sales leader you will lead from the front, spending as much time in front of customers as possible and helping to develop your team into a high performing and effective sales force. 


What you’ll do

 

 

  • Drive the Cloud and Applications value proposition into our enterprise customers from a leadership level
  • Help qualify, construct and close high complexity technology and professional services deals with some of the world’s largest organisations
  • Support, coach and develop a high performing sales team – including a range of skillsets from graduates through to 20+ year sales experts
  • Work with our strategic vendor partnerships to identify new sales opportunities
  • Build lasting relationships with key stakeholders at identified customers
  • Understand and be an expert internally for our core Cloud and Applications GTM propositions and advocate for these amongst the sales community
  • Support the growth of the Cloud and Applications area and delivery against its sales targets
  • Support the Solution Area Director with the strategy of the team

 

Secondary Responsibilities and Opportunities

 

  • Represent Computacenter at partner boards and forums, attend relevant events and conferences and act as a point of technical escalation within the business
  • Engage within a broad virtual team across Computacenter comprising Account Managers, Client Directors, Professional Services, Solution Leaders and Architects to help customers access and procure key technology solutions and services

What you’ll need

 

  • Previous experience managing an enterprise level sales team
  • Relevant experience in the Cloud and Applications market
  • Front-line sales experience in relevant technologies or solutions
  • Excellent communicator and presenter
  • Strong commercial acumen, good negotiator and understanding of complex sales cycles and governance processes
  • Extensive network within the cloud and application partner community
