As we look to scale our Group Professional Services business, this new position Head of Resource Management Business Partnering will play a key role in the transformation and governance of our GPS Resource Management (RM) function. This role will build, shape and lead a team of Resource Management Business Partnering specialists that support the Group Business using RM best practice to capture demand and deliver resourcing solutions that source the right skills, from the right delivery channel, at the right time to meet and exceed the requirements of our customers.

What you’ll do
Resource Management Operations
- This is a new role for GPS that will require you to bring knowledge and experience of resourcing best practice to design, build and deliver a resourcing strategy that can quickly and efficiently capture and translate customer demand into actionable resource planning.
- You will be leading a team that is required to utilise a range of delivery models (including onshore, offshore, nearshore, contractors and External Partners) to build resource plans that meet the (often complex and fast changing) needs of our customers.
- You will strive for Operational Excellence in establishing resourcing processes for your team that are scalable and operate with strong governance, identifying areas for automation, standardisation and improvement to optimise service delivery
- You will act as an escalation point for GPS stakeholders regarding resourcing related risks & issues
- You will stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive operational excellence
- You will have Cost Planning and P&L responsibility for the GPS Resource Management Business Partnering team
Stakeholder Management
- You will build strong and trusted relationships with the Sales, Solutions and Service Management leadership teams, collaborating with them to understand their customer requirements and helping them to source the best resourcing solutions for their customers
- You will work closely with the GPS Practices teams to understand the skills and capabilities that sit within the GPS business to ensure that resourcing decisions are made fairly and support the skills, aspirations and development of our people as well as driving higher levels of utilisation
- You will work closely with our team responsible for managing our network of external Partners, ensuring governance and best practice is deployed, in using our Partner network to augment our Professional Services capability
Leadership
- As this is a new role, you will be responsible for recruiting, coaching and upskilling your team to implement the new Group Business Partnering model
- Promote a continuous improvement and growth mindset function by encouraging innovation, knowledge sharing, and professional development within the team.
- You will be a key member of the Resource Management leadership team, working collaboratively with peers and colleagues to create a RM function that meets the needs of the business now and into the future
- You will play a key role in the overall governance and transformation of the Resourcing function, modelling best practice as we drive the Business Partnering model throughout the Group structure.
What you’ll need
