Group Alliances Director

The responsibilities of this role are to ensure that Computacenter are the preferred “Route to Market” for one of our key strategic vendors Lenovo, across all Computacenter operating countries where Lenovo operates. The Global Alliance Director will lead and drive the sales and business engagement to maximise growth and performance, working across virtual teams to deliver sustainable success.

 

You will drive the growth initiatives within Computacenter and Lenovo as well as maximise the opportunities for growth. Accountable and responsible for ensuring that Computacenter does what it commits to as part of the Alliance plan.

 

Role Responsibilities

  • Drive sales activity and engagement through all Country Units with Lenovo
  • Identify and capitalise on Sales opportunities in Lenovo and Computacenter
  • Ensure Computacenter is seen as the ‘go-to’ Partner within Lenovo at ALL levels
  • Provide Leadership of joint “Go to Market” initiatives with the Lenovo
  • Representation at key Alliance events, conferences and strategic forums
  • Ensure CC proposition and capability is aligned and fully recognised at all levels within Lenovo
  • Collaboration and engagement with Sectors & Solutions to drive and enable the execution of in country sales plans with Lenovo
  • Develop, operate and execute multi year Business Development plan for CCO/CU Heads/Executive
  • Provide Market evaluation and strategic summaries to enable informed decisions by senior Computacenter stakeholders where the conversation is Group rather than “in Country”
  • Enable appropriate engagement between Alliance partner and GDD to maximise growth opportunities for Computacenter as part of the overall agreed business plan
  • Leverage & support GPM with Group wide negotiations with lenovo
  • Collaboration and engagement with GCO leadership to drive and enable the execution of in country & Group commercial programs and objective

 

Ideal Candidate

  • Successful sales track record in relevant technology areas
  • Strong commercial and business acumen
  • Strong experience of leading Alliance and ‘sell through/with’ programmes
  • Gravitas and Credibility at CXO level
  • Strong personal network within Lenovo
  • Enterprise Technology “proficient/aware”
  • Effective in working in Virtual teams across Geographies and Continents
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Additional language (French or German) is desirable
  • Recognised Industry personal referral network is desirable
  • Business degree or equivalent professional experience
