At Computacenter, our Group Commercial Finance team plays a critical role in helping the business make better commercial decisions and achieve stronger outcomes.

 

As a Finance Business Partner, you'll work alongside senior Sales and business leaders, providing financial insight, commercial challenge, deal governance and decision support across a complex and evolving international organisation. You'll become a trusted advisor to your stakeholders, helping to shape decisions that influence business performance, investment priorities, deals, forecasting and long-term growth.

 

You'll join a collaborative team of Finance Business Partners supporting multiple countries and business units across Europe and our global delivery locations. What you'll do

 

  • Partner with Sales and business stakeholders to influence commercial decision-making and improve business performance.
  • Provide financial insight, deal governance, challenge and recommendations that support strategic and operational objectives.
  • Support deal modelling, forecasting, budgeting and performance management activities across your business area.
  • Analyse commercial opportunities, business performance and financial trends to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Contribute to deal governance activities and support commercially sound decision-making.
  • Develop cost models and financial analysis to support business planning and operational effectiveness.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, becoming the primary finance contact for your area of responsibility.
  • Present financial information in a clear and meaningful way to support informed business decisions.
  • Assess business issues, opportunities and investment proposals, escalating where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Sales and operational teams to drive continuous improvement and best practice.
  • Support business transformation initiatives and process improvement activities across finance and commercial operations.
  • Work within a matrix environment, contributing to the success of projects, programmes and business initiatives.

 

What you'll need

 

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in a Finance Business Partnering, Commercial Finance or similar commercially focused finance role.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial information into practical business insight.
  • Experience influencing and challenging stakeholders at multiple levels across an organisation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex financial and commercial data.
  • Experience supporting forecasting, budgeting and financial planning activities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage both finance and non-finance audiences.
  • A proactive approach and the confidence to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

 

Desirable

 

  • Experience partnering with Sales, Commercial or Operational functions.
  • Experience within a technology, managed services, outsourcing or multi-service environment.
  • Experience working within a large international or matrix organisation.
  • Experience supporting transformation, operational improvement or systems initiatives.
