Customer Service Administration Team leader

Computacenter are recruiting for a team leader to play a lead role in driving end to end process efficiency and effectiveness to support a geographic expansion and drive for group standard processes. Responsible for the day to day management of a set of team members for an assigned process. In addition to people management, the team leader is also responsible for the delivery of the relevant SLAs, OLAs by team members


Role Specifications

  • Plans and distributes workload appropriately to ensure that business needs, SLAs, OLA and deadlines are met
  • Provides clear, concise and relevant communication to ensure clarity of objectives and outputs required
  • Resolves customer escalation in a timely manner to avoid disruption and minimise business impact
  • Analyses management reports to allocate work and meet business requirements
  • Supports the drive towards development of use of group-wide processes and tools in the area of responsibility
  • Disciplinary and technical responsibility for assigned teams
  • Proactive avoidance of bottlenecks or overhangs in the team
  • Controls relevant costs lines to meet budgetary requirements
  • Responsible for feedback interviews and personnel development
  • Ensuring and optimising the performance & development process of the team under their control
  • Exemplary Computacenter values; integrity, self-responsibility, motivation and customer orientation
  • Identification of potential process improvement opportunities and implementation of adequate development measures for the assigned employees
  • Planning of necessary training measures and coordination with the other managers
  • Identification of necessary measures to strengthen the team structure and implementation of the measures
  • Act in accordance with Computacenter Information Security Policies and report any potential or actual security events or other security risks to the organisation


The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience of leading a team
  • People management experience
  • Ability to prioritise own workload
  • Demonstrates knowledge of, and understands, the direction of change in the marketplace, industry, consumer preferences and stakeholders
  • Understanding in process improvement techniques.
  • Able to present facts to customer in relevant format
  • Builds and maintains effective cross-functional relationships that support the accomplishment of business goals
  • Coaches team members to recognise and use each other's strengths to achieve team goals
