Communications and Content Manager - FTC

Your new role
We are looking for a Communications & Content Manager to join our team in London, Reading or Hatfield.


You will execute an integrated communications strategy for the UK salesforce, customers, and partners. This means executing communications plans to increase awareness of our end-to-end offerings, capabilities, target market, and recognition of Computacenter’s culture. You will be drafting and editing materials and communications copy, gather feedback from communications to create reports to inform sales teams - consistently work with the sales teams to collect best practices, prospect and customer stories, and learnings, to continuously curate information/knowledge base, to feed back into the wider sales teams.

 

  •  External
    • Customer Magazine
      • Project manage the creation of the quarterly customer magazine. Identify themes and topics with support of sales teams, co-create content, artwork (with support of creative team), manage the sending process, gather feedback (qualitative and quantitative) and create reports to support future magazines. 
    • Software Magazine
      •  Work in partnership with Head of Software Sales to create bi-annual software magazine. Identify key content, artwork, manage subscription process and gather feedback.
    • Partner Magazine
      • Support the Director – Partner Management UK to curate quarterly partner magazine. Identify content, write content, artwork, manage sending process and gather feedback and engagement. 
  • Internal 
    • Internal Communications    
      • Monthly Communications – manage the monthly internal communication to the sales force. Identify content, work with teams across the business to create content, write articles, update sales communication platform, send and gather engagement rates. 
      • MD Monthly Communications – work in collaboration with UK Managing Director and team to release monthly update sharing activities with customers and wider business engagements to the sales teams. Identify content, write articles, manage sending process and engagement from audience. 
      • Customer Wins – identify key wins from the previous month to celebrate success across the UK business. Work with account teams to gather content, proof, artwork and send wins. 
    • Kitbags
      • Work with key sales and partner management teams to create internal collateral to support wider communications with new solutions. Support the creation of content, proof, artwork, manage communication of content, report on engagement to support ROI.
    • Intranet updates for teams
      • Support sales teams with the initial creation of internal intranet pages. Assist in the identification of key content, upload, provide key engagement statistics and handover to team PA. 
    • ADHOC project support

 
What you will need to be successful
In order to be successful in this role we are looking for someone who:

  • has experience of writing content/articles.
  • can project manage communication projects.
  • has hands-on experience with creative software packages, such as the Microsoft Office; desirable but non-essential experience would include Adobe Creative Cloud and Foleon.
  • understands the process of email marketing and has previously worked with an email marketing tool.
  • can demonstrate good attention to detail and be able to converse with people across all levels.
  • You may be a graduate starting out in PR or marketing, or perhaps someone who has experience behind you, the most important thing is that you are someone who is creative, has the drive to succeed and most importantly experience of content writing.
