Life on the team
Build communications that inspire, engage, and drive real change for our customers. At Computacenter, we’re trusted by world leading organisations to deliver technology transformation that makes a meaningful impact. As we continue to grow our Adoption & Change Management (ACM) capability, we’re looking for an experienced Change Communications Manager to shape, lead, and deliver strategic communication across major change programmes—helping our customers and our people understand, embrace, and adopt new ways of working.
This role is pivotal in maturing the ACM practice. You’ll bring a passion for communications as a craft, flexing tone of voice to match each customer’s brand, ghost-writing where needed, and using creative digital formats to bring stories to life. If you thrive on translating complex ideas into clear, engaging messaging that influences behaviour, this role is an excellent fit.
What you’ll do
- Develop and deliver communication strategies for large transformation programmes, ensuring messaging is clear, timely, and aligned to customer and Computacenter brand guidelines.
- Tailor communications for different audiences—from end users to senior leaders—ensuring relevance, clarity, and impact.
- Produce engaging multichannel content including emails, intranet posts, newsletters, briefings, presentations, infographics, and video scripts.
- Ghostwrite and adapt tone confidently to reflect different customer personas and industries.
- Bring change narratives to life by explaining the “why,” “what,” and “how” in a compelling, accessible way that supports adoption.
- Coordinate communication campaigns around key project milestones, reinforcing training, engagement, and behavioural change activities.
- Create and curate digital and multimedia assets, including shortform videos and creative storytelling materials.
- Provide leaders and sponsors with briefing packs, cascade tools, and talking points that support consistent communication.
- Monitor communication effectiveness using analytics, feedback, and engagement data; adjust tactics where needed.
- Manage sensitive or challenging communications with clarity, empathy, and professionalism.
- Contribute to building the ACM communications capability by reusing templates, sharing best practice, and supporting team development.
What you’ll need
- 5+ years’ experience in corporate, internal, or change communications.
- Experience supporting largescale transformation, ideally in tech, consulting, or related sectors.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex information.
- Strategic mindset with the creativity to develop compelling, multiphase communication programmes.
- Confidence using digital platforms including SharePoint, MS Teams, Viva Engage, intranets, and newsletters.
- Experience producing or coordinating multimedia assets content.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, including advising senior leaders and working collaboratively across teams.
- A data driven approach to refining communications based on metrics and feedback.
- Versatility and the ability to adapt tone, messaging, and approach across different customer environments.
- An agile, people centred mindset with sensitivity to the challenges that come with organisational change.
