Sales Specialist - Software

Due to continued growth and success within in our Development and Acquisitions Public sector team, a new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Software and Licensing specialist. The successful applicant will be responsible for responding to Software tenders with a focus on building Microsoft cost models across local authorities, NHS trusts and Police organisations. You will work in conjunction with our account teams and a dedicated Public Sector team focussed on value add into our agreements. Agreements already held, assistance with identifying further software opportunities for growth within the customer portfolio.

The successful individual will have a proven track record in working with tier 1 software partners, including Microsoft agreements, preferably experienced in the DTA framework, and have wider software skills including awareness of cloud consumption with the major providers. The candidate will be responsible for supporting sales with a variety of tasks relating to optimising the agreement throughout the term of the agreement ensuring we are driving profitability for Computacenter whilst remaining a trusted partner for the customer.


Roles & Responsibilities
•    Work with the Computacenter account team to identify software opportunities and develop pipeline within Customers.
•    Support negotiations, whilst overcoming objections to maximise sales opportunities.
•    Show insight to our customers and partners regarding software contracts and optimal usage of agreements
•    Responding to software tenders and the ability to build MS cost models.
•    Identification of further software opportunities into existing customer base


The Ideal Candidate

•    A License management background, with the ability to identify further opportunities throughout Public Sector portfolio
•    Able to provide support to the wider account management team as part of a virtual team, to grow account base.
•    Public sector understanding preferred but not essential.
•    The ability to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment.
•    Highly motivated, results-oriented with strong skills in presenting, communicating, organising, multi-tasking and time management.
•    Experience of Software Licensing or License Management with a keen interest in sales.
