Production Planner
About the role
As the Production Planner you will be a part of the Computacenter Integration Center (IC) team. You will drive end-to-end execution across planning, order fulfillment, systems operations, and customer delivery. This role sits at the
center of cross-functional activity, ensuring alignment between program management, supply chain, warehouse operations, and customer-facing teams. You will own the integrity of the Production Schedules, translate demand into executable plans, and ensure orders move efficiently from intake through shipment and completion.
Success in this role requires a balance of strategic oversight and hands-on execution. You will proactively identify risks, blockers, and operational issues, particularly within SAP and order management workflows, while maintaining clear, consistent communication with stakeholders. As a key point of contact for both internal teams and external customers, you will drive accountability, manage expectations, and ensure a high-quality delivery experience.

This position is an office-based position; Production Planners are assigned space at their Integration Center.
Annual compensation: $52K USD
What you’ll be doing
- Own and maintain the Production Schedule, ensuring accurate, real-time tracking of status, milestones, and risks
- Build and manage project timelines, support intake, kickoff, and execution of new orders and programs
- Execute and troubleshoot activities, including managing outbound deliveries, resolving order issues, and handling returns
- Lead Change Request (CR) lifecycle: tracking, prioritization, approvals, and execution with cross-functional teams
- Manage RMA processes, including vendor coordination, status tracking, and stakeholder communication
- The controlled onboarding of new Projects and Services into the Integration Center
- Monitor daily operations, communicate blockers, and drive resolution across teams
- Serve as a primary point of contact for internal customers, providing updates, documentation, and configuration follow-ups
- Track shipments, logistics activity, and operational metrics; ensure documentation accuracy and approvals
- Maintain operational trackers and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow) for visibility and accountability
What you have
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, operations, or program management
- Hands-on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems (order management, fulfillment, returns)
- Experience managing cross-functional projects and driving execution across multiple stakeholders
- Experience with ticketing and tracking tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Salesforce) is a plus
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- End-to-end understanding of planning, order fulfillment, and logistics
- Experience with order management, returns, and troubleshooting
- Ability to manage timelines, priorities, and multiple workflows
- Strong analytical skills with a proactive, solution-oriented approach
- Works effectively across teams and stakeholders
- Clear, concise updates to internal teams and customers
- Ensures accuracy in data, schedules, and system updates
- Thrives in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work independently, as well as with peers
- Strong working knowledge of computer system applications (e.g.: Windows, Microsoft Office, SAP,
- Salesforce)
