Sector Director
About the role
The Sector Director will influence and contribute to Divisional Strategy and has authority for all aspects of a significant business area. They will be fully accountable for actions and decisions of self and others and will help to ensure that Computacenter becomes the USA’s best IT Company.
What you'll be doing
- Partner with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent with Winning Together values.
- Recruit and develop top talent to accelerate growth of the division.
- Contribute towards Company strategy and establishes divisional objectives.
- Responsible for execution of strategy and/or go to market propositions.
- Responsible for achieving margin and growth targets.
- Keep abreast of changes in technology to ensure that divisional strategy is in line with market changes.
- Responsible for policy formation and adoption to ensure consistency of application.
- Responsible for setting divisional budget and wholly accountable for ensuring that spend is in line with budgetary limitations.
- Provide guidance on major or complex issues/campaigns.
- Enable our people to achieve their full potential in line with our mission.
- Wholly accountable for actions and decisions made by self and subordinates.
- Develop and motivate team to help ensure the delivery of function and business targets.
- Cascade Company and divisional objectives to team.
- Drive change, innovation and growth across Computacenter.
- Establish productive relationships and networks at Senior Executive level and acts as a point of escalation.
- Promote Computacenter Services & Solutions to grow the reputation of the Company.
- Create customers advocates and ensure customer satisfaction targets are reached.
- Act as an ambassador for Computacenter.
- Act in accordance with Computacenter Information Security Policies and reports any potential or actual Security events or other Security risks to the organization.
- Embrace and support Computacenter’s mission and core values.
What you have
- 15 years of related sales experience.
- 3 + years of experience in a management role.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in experience.
- Ability to build effective and constructive relationships up to and including Senior Management level within any organization.
- Demonstrable experience working in a challenging commercial environment.
- Experience managing P&L/budgets to plan.
- Experience working at a strategic level to enable the business to perform effectively.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Ability to identify and resolve significant strategic customer issues while moving the business forward.
- Ability to lead formal negotiations to achieve successful outcomes for large value contractual sales.
- Ability to manage stakeholders in a highly political environment.
- Understanding and appreciation of competitors and their strategy.
- Ability to build effective and constructive relationships up to and including Senior Management level within any organization.
- Demonstrable experience of working in a challenging commercial environment.
- Experience of working at a strategic level to enable the business to perform effectively.
- Ability to identify and resolve significant strategic customer issues while moving the business forward.
- Ability to lead formal negotiations to achieve successful outcomes for large value contractual sales.
