Installation Technician
About the role
As an Installation Technician, you will provide a range of installation services relating to hardware and network technical support.
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Salary range: $19 - $23/HR USD
What you’ll be doing
- Provide desktop hardware installation services where basic technical skills are required.
- Responsible for un-boxing and installing kit to desk and connecting peripherals, connecting power cables, and performing any relevant power on self-tests. Basic steps to start automated builds and simple scripted post-login configuration can also be included.
- Experience providing hands and eyes support.
- Experience in remote call handling.
- Evaluate and resolve end user tickets through ServiceNow.
- Install and configure local and network-based printers and other IT equipment.
- Responsible for physically connecting network cables from desktop clients to associated network points where required. The Installation Technician can be utilized within the overall design of a project rollout solution, for on-site desktop move requirements, on-site peripheral consumable maintenance and other functions.
- Ability to diagnose and solve basic technical issues.
What you have
- Proven experience in IT Desktop Service environment.
- Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.
- You must be authorized to work in the United States.

- Possess a good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other technologies.
