Facilities Generalist
About the role
As the Facilities Generalist, you will provide support with all facility administration for a customer dedicated warehouse/staging center office. The Facilities Generalist carries out commercial and technical tasks related to building and facility management operations. The work is carried out largely independently while ensuring adherence to defined quality and safety standards. Your professionalism is vital to make our customers, vendors, employees and guests feel like their needs, concerns and questions are taken care of.
- Daily facility walk-throughs and inspections
- Monitor HVAC, lighting, dock equipment, doors, and warehouse infrastructure
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance activities
- Track facility work orders and ensure completion
- Manage preventive maintenance schedules
Vendor Management
- Escort and supervise contractors
- Coordinate janitorial, landscaping, pest control, HVAC, security, and maintenance vendors
- Verify work completion and approve service reports
- Track vendor compliance and insurance certificates
Safety & Security
- Conduct weekly/monthly safety inspections
- Monitor emergency exits, fire extinguishers, eyewash stations, and first aid supplies
- Support OSHA compliance activities
- Participate in emergency response and incident investigations
- Maintain facility documentation and inspection records
- Manage badge access systems & review access requests
- Coordinate with security vendors & assist with investigations involving building access
- Partner with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent with Winning Together values.

Warehouse Support
- Coordinate dock door repairs
- Monitor racking condition and report damage
Support warehouse layout changes - Coordinate installation of equipment, furniture, and signage
- Assist with facility needs during peak operational periods
Office Support
- Manage office supplies and breakroom inventories
- Coordinate conference room setups
- Handle employee facility requests
- Support onboarding and workspace setup
Budget & Administration
- Process facility invoices
- Track maintenance spending
- Maintain service contracts
- Update facility records and asset inventories
What you have
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- 3–5 years facilities, maintenance, warehouse operations, or property management experience
- Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems
- Strong vendor coordination skills
- Exceptional customer service skills; able to support both internal and external customers
- Good knowledge and experience of SAP, MS Office and MS Teams
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strategic thinking and tactical execution skills
- Good knowledge of the IT industry and an understanding of IT technologies and products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable communicating with colleagues in different countries where English is not the first spoken language
- Good self-organization and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple requests simultaneously
- Can build trust, be assertive when required and shows initiative and enthusiasm
- Resilience, and able to deal with stressful situations
- Business and financial acumen with strong analytical skills
- Demonstrate an understanding of product supply chains
