Account Manager
About the role
The primary responsibility of the Account Manager (AM) is to assist Account Executives in handling Computacenter customer base and the sales of products and services. Account Managers are empowered to help & support the Sales process; making it easier for an Account Executive to handle and seek out multi-client opportunities while the AM works on and coordinates any related activities or client needs. The Account Manager is required to work with various internal Departments as well as external Vendors; and continually call on, track & pursue all “working” sales opportunities in an effort to build happiness as well as assist in growing any additional sales opportunities within the client.

What you’ll be doing
- Partner with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent with Winning Together values.
- Schedule and attend meetings with customers and prospective customers as requested.
- Maintain customer relationships by informing current and future customers of current promotions and new or upgraded products; responding to customer inquiries, emphasizing sale-able features, quoting prices and credit terms; motivating customers to buy; following up with potential/existing customers to assure happiness and resolve problems.
- Maintain customer files with sales contract and other information.
- Manage Existing Clients with Assigned Incumbent AE's: Account Managers will assist in running day to day activities, such as: pre-qualifying new opportunities within client infrastructure, coordinating internal resources for sales opportunities, order fulfilment tracking and confirmation, conducting "up-sell" call campaigns, managing Account Receivable issues, and scheduling/inviting Clients for key events. From time to time, the Account Manager will be required to provide Proposals/Quotations for less complex solutions, in lieu of the Inside Sales Rep.

What you have
- 1-2 years of sales experience
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Technology background or experience is preferred
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a must, as well as outstanding interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Keen ability to manage time effectively and prioritize work.
- Must be highly organized.
- Professional self-starter, able to work independently and collaboratively with others.
- Ability to work independently and exercise discretion and personal judgment
- Intermediate skills using Microsoft Office, Outlook, and the Internet.
- Ability to travel to meetings. Must have a valid Driver’s License.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
