Team Manager
(Application Packaging, Test & Validation Management and Hardware Lifecycle Management)

There is a new opportunity for an ambitious and motivated individual to join Computacenter Hatfield as a Team Manager. This role requires one to be comfortable and accountable for their own work and have experience in managing, developing and coaching a team of staff and implement performance management solutions where required. The teams are within Managed Services, based in Hatfield you would also be required to manage teams in Manchester, Milton Keynes and Nottingham, with likelihood of weekly travel if needed. 

Role requirements:

•    Develop and motivate team to help ensure the delivery of function and business targets
•    Assess situations, issues and opportunities and escalate when appropriate
•    Acting as a point of escalation on complex issues and providing appropriate support to other team members
•    Maintain confidentiality in all business related matters
•    Liaise with colleagues to ensure best practice and continual improvement in delivery of service to the business
•    Establishes productive relationships and networks at Senior Management level to build and maintain customer relationships

Ideal Candidate 

We are looking for someone who has experience at management level and can motivate and drive the team forward which in turn shall push the service forward. Whilst meeting SLA and looking at cost saving you will be expected to pick up new ideas, improvements and implement them into the service. It is a diverse team which is expanding and it is important to be able to maintain the work flow whilst looking for opportunities. Experience in relationship building will be a skillset required working at this level as will a foundation in ITIL. The team you shall be working with is Application Packaging, Test & Validation Management and Hardware Lifecycle Management. Experience and knowledge of deifferent IT teams is beneficail for this role.
