A new opportunity has arisen within Computacenter, Hatfield for an Software License Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring Computacenter’s license management services are provided to our customers in an effective and efficient manner as well as being responsible for assisting in all aspects of the software license management Best Practice tools and processes in place, assisting in activities such as Entitlements Management, Reconciliation activities, Software metering, re-harvesting and delivery of Vendor audits specifically (but not exclusively) IBM/Oracle.
This role will initially be site based, with potential options of hybrid working
What you'll do
- Assist and support regular Vendor audits specifically but not exclusively IBM, Oracle, Microsoft, Adobe, Veritas
- Achieve KPIs, including Report production and distribution.
- Undertake assignments; specifically gathering and analysing customer’s contract, entitlement, renewals and discovery data for inputting into Licence Management Tool
- Assist in data cleanse activities to ensure the optimum data quality is maintained
- Adhere to administrative processes in line with company guidelines
- Provide advice and guidance to support each customer’s best interests on software license management.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and managing expectations.
- Maintain and follow Best Practice to the Customer and provide support where appropriate.
What you'll need
- Security Clearance essential or the ability to be security cleared
- Technical analyst experience within IT Industry, particularly aligned to ITIL
- Use of SNOW or other Licence management tool
- Awareness of licensing models across the vendors for entitlements and reconciliation activities.
- Understanding of the application lifecycle process flow and licence models and metrics
- Good communication skills across a broad audience
- Willingness to learn and develop
- Knowledge of the business benefits that technical solutions can provide
- Excellent Customer Service management behaviours
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Experience in services organisations and environments would be advantageous
