Marketing Executive (Social Media)


Job Introduction

Would you like to join a fun and friendly team as a Social Media Exec? We are currently looking for proactive and confident social media specialist looking to help set and implement our social media strategy.

Computacenter’s social media is becoming ever more integral to our marketing and communications strategy.  As a result, we are looking for an enthusiastic social media specialist to join our team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Managing Computacenter’s social presence by developing a strategy, seeking and producing engaging content to connect with our relevant audiences whilst managing the day-to-day handling of all social channels.
  • Proactively collaborating with colleagues from across the business to plan and execute marketing campaigns promoting our capabilities and opinions over social media platforms.


Some of your responsibilities include:

  • Continuing to adapt, maintain and follow the Computacenter social media strategy
  • Promoting Computacenter services via social media, in a way that is consistent with our brand and strategy.
  • Creating content, including text posts, video and images – as well as optimising content for social.
  • Targeting specific audiences, keeping track of data and analysing the performance of social media campaigns
  • Building internal networks to capture stakeholder requirements, manage the production of creative assets and liaising with the web and design teams to support of strategic marketing campaigns.
  • Advising the business on best practices for social media strategies and campaigns
  • Managing the Computacenter blog site
  • Working closely with our partner organisations to create joint social media communications
  • Providing social media support at events, both live & virtual


The Ideal Candidate

  • An extensive knowledge of and interest in social media marketing techniques in a B2B context
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Pro-active and well-organised with a customer-orientated approach
  • Marketing degree / CIM qualification or similar
  • Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Good administrative skills
