We have an exciting new opportunity to join a newly formed ServiceNow Platform team to be a Lead Developer / Junior Architect.  Alongside the Platform management team help lead, develop and govern the implementation of ServiceNow into Computacenter. Be part of the team to help shape how ServiceNow is implemented across different Computacenter business areas.  Ensuring solutions and changes that are deployed are designed and built using ServiceNow standard capabilities.  Provide technical evaluation of demands against ServiceNow platform architecture, capabilities, and best practices.  

 

 

What you’ll do

  • Lead and design solutions within an architectural framework in collaboration peers and Development team
  • Collaborate with technical teams to define standards and best practice for customisation and integration of ServiceNow platform
  • Translate business process requirements from Product owners into technical designs, creating a best-fit ServiceNow solution and implementation approach within a large enterprise
  • Advising, qualification and questioning of customer requirements, especially in complex projects and in the case of unclear customer requirements
  • Oversee the implementation of new features, modules, and enhancements
  • Able to communicate complex issues with stakeholders and technical staff
  • Provide technical design authority and mentor more junior members of the team
  • Ensuring adherence to coding and design standards, and providing technical hand-over documentation 
  • Effective communication skills and be a team player

 

 

What you’ll need

  • 10 years of Corporate IT Service Management and technical delivery experience
  • 8+ years of general experience in developing solutions in Service Management platforms
  • 6+ years of experience of ServiceNow development and implementation
  • 4+ years of experience in delivering Integrations within the ServiceNow platform
  • Demonstrable experience of implementing multiple applications in ServiceNow including: ITSM, FSM, HR, Sec Ops, CSM 
  • Thorough understanding of ITIL processes, such as Incident, Problem, Configuration management and Change management. 
  • Experience of developing custom applications in ServiceNow
  • Delivery of medium to large sized application projects 
  • Understanding of Scrum (Agile) development process
  • ServiceNow Certified System Admin
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist in relevant products
