Life on the team
Roles at this level will be fully accountable for their own work, establish their own milestones, team objectives and will delegates assignments. 

 

What you’ll do
Responsible for the development of a solution design to deliver IT Services within complex, highrisk, large scale Managed Service bids
· This includes the design of the required infrastructure / technology/tools (incl. vendor selection and sizing), operational requirements
(such as skill levels, headcounts, locations, etc.) and operational processes (based on ITIL) for the Future Mode of Operations (FMO)
· Furthermore it includes the responsibility to understand and document the Current Mode of Operations (CMO) at this specific customer and
identify the necessary steps to migrate from CMO to FMO and transition this IT Service into Computacenters standard operating environment
· Solution Architects provide advisory role within specialist area to peer group and customers and are able to assess and understand customer
requirements, issues and opportunities
· They negotiates with various stakeholders to achieve a commercially viable proposition and attend / present at customer meetings to ensure
understanding of customer requirements and to assist with knowledge transfer
High quality and accuracy of the solution design, compliant to customer requirements as much as possible · Accurate documentation of the solution design, updated in a timely manner and stored centrally · Commitments, Risks and Dependencies are documented and communicated effectively · BAFO submissions have been assured locally and approved by the relevant ISP’s prior to Pricing Review · Understand and adhere to policies and procedures

 
What you'll need
Good working knowledge of relevant commercial tools and systems e.g. cost & pricing tools, maintenance & logistics, resource planning and project planning.
Advanced academic background, preferably to good degree level or equivalent · 
Track record of successfully designing and contracting complex transformational IT Outsourcing Services · 
Broad knowledge of the business benefits that technical solutions & services can provide · 
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present at internal and external audiences · 
Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Applications · 
Ability to prioritise own workload · 
Provide good customer service · 
Good Administrative experience, attention to detail and accuracy · 
Good interpersonal ,literacy and numeracy skills and ability to build relationships
