Life on the team


The Group Service Development and Change function in Computacenter IT department (Group Information Services - GIS) is accountable for the execution of the development of standard service offerings and changes aligned to Group strategy. This includes the development / change, adoption and operational enablement of major projects and programmes, both internally and for customers directly. The function is responsible across CC Group for predictable (time, cost and quality) outcomes as defined in each project business case.  This function encompasses an end-to-end view of all service development or change, remediating any out-of-scope components as required to achieve the business outcome.
 

What you’ll do
The SPM must have delivered major changes related to replacement and/or enhancement of ERPs or best-of-breed applications, if possible, in the service provision industry, including but not limited to SAP, BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, Salesforce & Genesys.
Ideally, the SPM will be familiar with middleware software and service integration implementations.
Working through business processes as an enabler to drive the definition of the required changes and technical deliveries should be the SPM mindset.
 

What you’ll need
•    Mobilise and lead elements of multi-disciplinary major service development / change projects for Computacenter Internal Business Functions following the Development Change Framework (DCF)
•    Work collaboratively across the business to ensure projects deliver the outcomes defined in each business case
•    Define and drive best practice and consistent delivery of service in all locations
•    Provide leadership inputs during development by identifying any incremental opportunities
•    Actively manage project management resource to define and execute against plans
•    Thoroughly manage the Financials and accurately follow up cost at the detail level
•    Actively manage Quality, Dependencies, Key Risks and Issues
•    Support the development and refinement of Computacenter adoption and training
•    Deliver smooth service implementation through development of relationships, operational enablement and incubation.
•    Manage remediation of delivery issues for a change – when it does not meet expected outcomes during incubation
•    Liaison with all operational delivery organisations in developing the service
•    Manage relationships with key Business and GIS stakeholders and leadership
•    Align leadership (e.g. sponsors, senior and middle management) on key messaging and communication approach across all departments
